Narayanganj Correspondent:
Narayanganj-4 Constituency Awami League nominated Member of
Parliament candidate Shamim Osman said, I will not ask for votes from anyone.
Voters will choose what trees they will plant. If you plant a fruit tree, you
will eat the fruit. If they plant flowers, they will get the fragrance of
flowers. If they plant a thorn tree, they will be hurt by the thorn. I just
want everyone's prayers. I have done a lot of development. Now we will build a
society free from drugs, terrorism and extortion.
On Wednesday (December 20) from noon to afternoon, he said
these things to the media workers during a public meeting in various areas of
Ward No. 6 of Siddhirganj, Narayanganj City Corporation.
Shamim Osman started mass communication with party leaders
and supporters from 2.30 pm. He went to different areas of the ward on foot and
exchanged strategies with the voters. Meanwhile, voters including men and women
welcomed him by showering flower petals and garlanding his neck. Congratulations
are also given with boat flower.
Shamim Osman said in response to the journalists' questions
about the strike and various sabotage of BNP and like-minded parties, the
Election Commission and the administration are working to deal with the law and
order situation during the election. Since now there is a ban on holding
political programs, that’s why I am silent. But if the people of the country
are hurt, then we Awami League leaders and workers will not sit silently. Then
we will resist in ways they can't even imagine.
Siddhirganj Thana Awami League President Mojibur Rahman, General Secretary Haji Yasin Miah, Thana Jubo League convener Matiur Rahman Moti, Bangabandhu Foundation Narayanganj District President Sirajul Islam Mondal and others were present.
