A raiding party of RAB-5, Rajshahi, on November 29, on the basis of intelligence, inside the lane between the house of Nazmul Hossain of Ward No. 6 of Ward No. 6 of Nungola KDC of Rahanpur Municipality under Gomstapur Thana of Chapainawabaganj District and the wall adjacent to the slaughterhouse pump of Ward No. 6 of Nungola KDC of Rahanpur Municipality under Gomstapur Thana of Chapainawabaganj District. In response to the complaints of local people in KDC neighborhood under Gomstapur police station of Chapainawabganj district, a raid team of RAB conducted an operation and arrested eight people who were accused of selling and consuming drugs. According to local complaints, there are regular drug stalls in the area. Some unscrupulous people used to collect various types of drugs and sell them among the local youths. When the local public representatives failed repeatedly to eliminate them, they resorted to the law and order forces. When the intelligence team of RAB in plain clothes found out the truth of the incident, the raiding team conducted the operation according to the plan and arrested them red-handed while they were selling and consuming drugs.

A case has been registered in Chapainawabganj Gomstapur police station in the above incident.
