In response, the Premier Bank Foundation and Premier Group Foundation jointly announced a scholarship program for students seeking admission in various programs, including BEd, MEd, English BBA, MBA, EMBA, CSE, HMT, and LMS.
The official announcement was made by Dr. HBM Iqbal, the Chairman of the Royal University of Dhaka and a former Member of Parliament of Dhaka. He paid heartfelt tribute to the university's founder, Dr. Momtaz Begum, emphasizing the importance of providing deserving students access to higher education.
Dr. Iqbal also highlighted his commitment to improving the education system, mentioning the establishment of the Sheikh Hasina Science and Technology University in Bhairab. The Royal University of Dhaka has already built a permanent campus in Tejgaon, Dhaka, fostering a culture of research and happiness among students and faculty.
To enhance the educational landscape, construction has begun on a modern 30-storey Royal University campus in Tejgaon, Dhaka, set to open in the next three years. Simultaneously, progress continues on the Sheikh Hasina Science and Technology University in Bhairab, aiming to provide education for 60,000 to 70,000 students.
These universities feature modern infrastructure and renowned professors dedicated to providing quality education while implementing international standards.
Notably, Prof. Dr. Gias U Ahsan serves as the Vice-Chancellor of the Royal University, bringing dynamic leadership and a vision for modernization. His initiatives include curriculum updates, effective classroom management, research, and hands-on learning experiences, fostering an environment of enthusiasm and dedication.
The appointment of the renowned media personality, talk show host, and educationist, Dr. Jamil Ahmed, as the Registrar at the Royal University of Dhaka has marked a significant change in the university's administration.
