Decision taken to hold SSC exams following improvement of flood situation

The education ministry has decided to hold Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations as the flood situation in the country has improved.

Education Ministry Dr Dipu Moni will announce the schedule of the examinations at a press conference on July 17 (Sunday).

The education ministry disclosed this information in a notification on July 14 (Thursday).

It has been stated that a press conference has been called regarding the start of the SSC and equivalent examinations of 2022. The conference will begin at 1:00pm on July 17.

Meanwhile, the education boards in the country want to begin SSC and equivalent exams at the middle of August as flood situation across the country improved a lot. Before the press conference, the education minister will seek opinion of the education boards. Later, there is possibility of announcing schedule of the SSC and equivalent exams after taking consent of Prime Minister.
