Popular actor Shamsunnahar Smrity, better known as Pori Moni, is expecting her first child with husband Sariful Razz.
Pori Moni confirmed her pregnancy in early January, 2022, and announced that she would take a one-year break from acting.
The actor tied the knot with Razz in a private ceremony on Oct 17, 2021. The duo fell in love during the filming of "Gunin."
This week, Pori Moni shared a heartwarming photo of cradling her baby bump and leaning on her husband Sariful Razz. The photo was taken on Mother’s Day at Cox’s Bazar where the actors are spending their vacation.
She also wrote, “Hello Second Trimester! Happy Mother’s Day. Razz, I love you.”
The ever-doting husband Razz replied, “You will be the best mom!”
Fans were also mesmerized by Pori Moni’s new look, calling the actor “ethereal” and “inspiring.”
The 29-year-old actor has received Babisas Award for Featured Actor (Female) and Meril Prothom Alo Special Critic Award for her work in Dhallywood.
