Gopalganj-03 (Kotalipara-Tungipara, Parliamentary Constituency-217) election nomination papers have been submitted by central and local leaders on behalf of Awami League President Sheikh Hasina.

On Wednesday around 12:30 PM, cousin Sheikh Helal Uddin MP submitted nomination papers to the Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Kazi Mahbubul Alam on behalf of the Prime Minister.

At that time, Awami League's advisory council member Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, Bangladesh Insurance Association president Sheikh Kabir Hossain, prime minister's constituency representative and chief election agent of the prime minister. Shahid Ulla Khondkar, Central Awami League Organizing Secretary SM Kamal Hossain, Sheikh Salauddin Jewel MP, Sheikh Sarhan Nasser Tanmoy MP, Central Jubo League Joint General Secretary Sheikh Fazle Naeem, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Najma Akhter, Assistant Private Secretary to Prime Minister-02 Gazi Hafizur Rahman. Liku, Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Shakhawat Moon, District Awami League President Mahbub Ali Khan, General Secretary GM Sahab Uddin Azam, Zilla Parishad Chairman Advocate Munsi Atiyar Rahman, Municipal Mayor Sheikh Rakib Hossain, Kotalipara Upazila Awami League President Bhabendranath Biswas, General Secretary Ayanal Hossain Sheikh, Tungipara Municipality Mayor Sheikh Tozammel Haque Tutul along with central and local leaders were present.

The leaders present said that the people of Tungipara and Kotalipara will win the Prime Minister with huge votes on January 7.
