Three people were killed and at least 20 injured in collision between a bus and a truck in Gaibandha's Gabindaganj on Friday night.
The accident happened at about 11pm in Balua Bazar of the Dhaka-Rangpur highway.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Witnesses said when a Rangpur-bound bus of 'Shyamoli Paribahan' reached in the Balua Bazar area, then a truck from opposite direction collided head on with the bus, leaving its helper dead on the spot and 22 injured.
Of the injured, two succumbed to their injuries at Upazila Health Complex.
The hospital doctor Hedayetul Islam confirmed the matter.
