Yesterday was the time to decide the fate of the leadership in the election of Khagrachari Wood Traders Cooperative Society Limited. On Saturday from 9:00 a.m., election voting is going on in a festive environment for candidates and voters. It will continue till 4 pm.

Just as the candidates are active to increase their desired number of votes in their ballot boxes in victory, the voters are also keen to exercise their right to vote. Voting is being held in the presence of candidates, agent polling officers and all concerned in two booths at the office of the association. Voters from far and wide are quite happy to cast their votes.

After 10 o'clock in the morning Kujendra Lal Tripura, Member of Parliament of Khagrachari and Task Force Chairman, gave his vote. Before this, candidates including top leaders of AK Khagrachari district Awami League Didarul Alam Didar, Shawkat Ul Islam, Jasim Uddin were seen casting their votes.

At the end of the long waiting period, after 4:00 pm at the end of the scheduled time, the election of the voters will reveal who they want as the leader. There are 21 candidates competing for the posts of 1 president, 1 vice president, 1 general secretary, 1 deputy general secretary, 1 office secretary, 1 treasurer and 3 executive members. According to the list, 165 voters will exercise their right to vote in the triennial elections against 21 candidates.
