Enamul Haque (50) was killed in a collision between
a cargo truck and a passenger auto-rickshaw in Shibganj upazila's Bohlabari Mor
area on Sonamosjid road.
Deceased Enamul is the son of deceased Afsar Ali of
Chhota Chakghorapakhia village of Shibganj upazila.
Shibganj Thanor OC said that the deceased Enamul was returning home in a rickshaw on Friday evening. On the way, Enamul fell on the road and was seriously injured when an unidentified truck carrying goods from the opposite direction hit the rickshaw in Bahalabari area. On receiving the news, the family members rescued him and took him to the 250-bed Chapainawabganj District Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. After the accident, the driver fled with the truck.
