Two people were killed and one was injured after a truck hit an autorickshaw in Gazipur's Kaliakair upazila on Sunday morning.
The accident happened at about 6am on the Maona-Kaliakair regional road.
The deceased were Md Shahin, 14, and Md Sajib, 28.
Fulbaria police outpost in-charge SI Sohel Rana said a CNG-run autorickshaw turned turtle on the road after being hit by a truck from Kaliakair to Fulbaria, leaving two dead on the spot.
Critically injured one was taken to a hospital.
Police, however, seized the truck but its driver managed to flee soon after the accident.
