Three fifth grade students stole money and went Cox’s Bazar

The police have rescued three fifth grade students of Bhurungamari upazila of Kurigram who were missing for four days from Cox's Bazar district.

Officer in Charge (OC) Ruhul Amin of Bhurungamari police station confirmed the matter on Tuesday afternoon. Before this, they disappeared from Paikerchhara Union of Bhurungamari Upazila on November 16. They are Farhad Hossain, a 5th grade student of Beldah Government Primary School of that union, her other two classmates Mim Khatun and Tanya Khatun. They disappeared without telling their family members. Following this, the families of the missing students filed three separate general diaries (GD) at Bhurungamari police station.

According to the police, the Bhurungamari police station started the search operation following the GD regarding the disappearance of the missing school students. The police failed to search in various places including relatives. Later they were rescued from Dolphin More area of Cox's Bazar Sadar using modern technology by Bhurungamari Police Station.

Later, they said in Farthabad girl named Tania had a long-term wish that she will go to Cox's Bazar beach. But due to her young age, so she went to her classmate Md. Farhad Hossain and Mim Khatun. Later they planned and stole about 28000/- taka and without informing anyone of the family theyleft for Cox's Bazar.

OC Ruhul Amin said, they were rescued and brought to the police station in the presence of the upazila social service officer and given to their respective guardians with the help of the women and children officer.
