A 10 feet long python was found in a duck-chicken den in Bagerhat on Saturday.
The snake was recovered from a house of Usuf Gazi of Kochubunia village under Sunderban union in Bagerhat upazila in the morning.
Usuf Gazi said, “After hearing an abnormal noise of duck and chicken, I saw a python inside their den. Immediately I informed Forest office. They rushed to the spot and caught the snake.”
Md Zakir Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Boroitoli Forest Patrol, said the height of the rescued python is 10 feet and weight 15 kg. The python has been released in Sunderban.
