It is a season of harvesting paddies of Boro breed in the country. With a call to action by the central committee of BSL, leaders and workers are engaged in harvesting paddies of farmers district to district.
In this circumstance, on Friday morning, Subir Chakrabarty Himel, the former Vice-president of Dhaka South BSL, has led a 12 BSL leader-activist team to harvest paddies in the field.
Himel said, we have arranged this harvesting program as part of the direction from Central BSL for helping the poor and helpless farmers. BSL is encouraging and trying to stand by farmers who work hard to contribute to the economy of this country. I am proud of myself for engaging myself in such work.
Previously, on 24 April, Saddam Hossain, the President and Sheikh Wali Asif Enan, the secretary of BSL evoked youths and students to harvest paddies of Boro breed at their own efforts.
The evoking of central BSL has turned into a festival across the country. As a response to the programme, the young leader-worker participating in harvesting from different edges of the country. Farmers are pleased at such a programme of BSL.
