On Wednesday (December 06, 2023) at noon, Coast Guard Headquarters media officer Lt. Commander Khandaker Munif Taqi gave this information.He said that on the basis of secret information, a special operation was conducted in Azampara area under Teknaf police station by BCG station Teknaf under Bangladesh Coast Guard East Zone at approximately 2300 hours on Tuesday 05 December 2023. During the operation, a house was searched and a person was arrested with 6,700 pieces of Yaba while packing. The arrested person Md. Rabiul Hasan (20) is a resident of Maijpara village of Chakaria police station in Cox's Bazar.He further said that later the seized Yaba and the detained person were handed over to Teknaf Model Police Station for taking legal action.
