The education ministry has informed that Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations of this year postponed due to devastating floods in the country will begin after the Eid-ul-Azha.
Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division Md Abu Bakar Siddique disclosed this information on Wednesday.
It would not be possible to hold SSC and equivalent exams before the Eid-ul-Azha due to overall flood situation of the country. On the other hand, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations will be deferred due to delay of holding of SSC exams, he said
The SSC and equivalent examinations of this year were scheduled to begin from June 19. As per the schedule, the exams were supposed to be complete by July 6. But the SSC and equivalent exams were postponed on June 17 due to deterioration of floods in the country.
