Killer Husband Nazmul Islam
surrendered to the police station after killing his wife due to a family dispute
in Thakurgaon Ranishongkoil upazila. The police arrested him in this incident.
The incident took place in Padampur
Hajipara area of Lemba union of the upazila around 8 am on Wednesday. The name
of the deceased woman is Rabeya Khatun.

police station, Gulfamul Islam, confirmed the matter.
He said that Rabeya and her husband Nazmul started quarreling about various issues from dawn. At one point, Nazmul beat his wife and hit her chest with a stick. Later, when Rabeya collapsed on the ground unconscious, the other family members took her to the Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor declared her dead. Then Nazmul himself came to the police station and surrendered.
