Four people have been killed and two injured by bullet in separate fire incidents at Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar's Ukhiya upazila.

Of the four, three were killed on Tuesday evening and night after armed miscreants attacked 15 and 17 camps in Ukhiya.

The deceased were Abul Kashem, 35, a resident of 17; Md Jobayer, 16, a resident of camp no 15; and Anwar Sadeq, 27, of 15.

Another Rohingya man named Imama Hossain, 30, was shot dead by miscreants at camp no 4 around 2:30pm on Tuesday.

Armed Police Battalion (APBn) commander Md Amir Jafar said, "Two Rohingya terrorists have been detained withe arms over the incident. Our drive is on to arrest the other miscreants."

Around 7:30am on Tuesday, 10-12 Arsa members opened fire on Abul Kashem's head indiscriminately and he died on the spot.

Meanwhile, a gunfight took place between some Arsa and RSO members at about 8pm. Md Jobayer died on spot during the gunfight incident and Sadeq, Jaynal Uddin and Ayas were injured by bullets. Of them, Sadeq died on way to MSF Hospital.

The bodies were sent to District Sadar Hospital.

Rohingyas at the camps alleged that the Arsa and RSO killed the four for establishing supremacy in the camps.
