Chhatra Dal has hung banners supporting the blockade the administration building of Islamic University (IU), in support ongoing blockade of BNP. Chhatra Dal leaders and activists of the university held programme around 8 am on Monday were heard raising anti-government slogans.  

Banners were hung the gates of Administration Building , Rabindra-Nazrul Building and Mir Mosharraf Hossain Academic Building in support of blockade, "All-out blockade for one point demand. The state reform work is going on, sorry for the temporary inconvenience!'' reads the banner.  

Anwar Parvez, senior joint convener of Chhatra Dal said, "We are protesting across the country for people's right to vote and rice. I think those who are currently studying in Islamic universities have not yet had the opportunity to cast their valuable votes. I believe they have full support for our movement. Through street protests, we will force this fascist government to resign and establish a new people's government Insha Allah." 

 The secretary of IU Chhatra Dal, Masud Rumi Mithun said, "All the students of Bangladesh have supported the ongoing one-point movement the blockade banners have been hung as part of a nationwide programme to protest against the brutal attack by the police and Awami League in Dhaka." the member also demanded, university administration to stop all class examinations and work in public support.

 Mithun Bairagi, assistant proctor of the university said, "We visited the administration building and academic buildings after coming to know about this, but did not go to the spot and get the banner." 

 At around 1 pm, Chatro League leaders and activists staged an anti-blockade motorcycle showdown inside and outside the campus. Terming the activities of BNP-Jamaat across the country as terrorist activities, they indicated will resist these activities with students to maintain  stable environment in campus.
