A Rohingya leader was shot to death at Ukhiya-2 Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar on Saturday night.
The incident happened at about 9pm at D/9 Block of the camp.
The deceased was identified as Noor Hossain alias Bhutto, sub-majhi of Camp No-2.
A gang of 10-20 miscreants of ARSA entered Bhutto's house and shot him. After that, they left the place immediately, said Ukhiya Police Station OC Sheikh Mohammad Ali.
Later, he was rushed to Kutupalong MSF Hospital where the on-doctors declared him dead.
"The cause behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. The body was sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy," he added.
