Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila and several leaders and activists of the district were seen expressing their anger through social media.

BNP General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's home district Thakurgaon when the leaders and activists of the party took out a protest march in Thakurgaon to protest against the arrest of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the police fired batons along with rubber bullets and several tear gas shells to disperse the leaders and activists.
