In the 22nd Asia Master Athletics Championship 2023 held in the
Philippines, Nazrul Islam, a native of Singaporean expatriate from Devidar
Gopalnagar area of Comilla, won the silver (second) medal in the 10 km road
race and the bronze (third) medal in the 5 km race in the 35-39 age category.
In the 10 km road race, Bolibar of the Philippines came first and Itok Triwiono
of Indonesia came third. Singapore's Markaz won the first place in the 5 km
race and Bolibar of the Philippines won the second place at 22nd Asia Master
Athletics Championship 2023 from Abroad.
Singapore expatriate Nazrul Islam made Bangladesh
proud by winning second and third place. The championship started on November 8
and will end on November 12. There is a flood of joy in various districts
including Comilla district of Bangladesh on receiving the medal of Nazrul Islam.
