Another JCD man injured in Narsingdi factional clash dies

Another Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader, who was shot during a clash between two factions of the BNP-backed student organisation in Narsingdi town on Thursday afternoon, died at a hospital on Friday morning.

The victim Ashraful Islam, 20, died while being treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 9.30am.

Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police outpost, informed this to media in the morning. The death toll in the clash rose to two.

Meanwhile, two factions of Chhatra Dal locked into a clash near district BNP office at Chinishpur of Narsingdi town around 4pm on Thursday.

During the clash two JCD men got bullet injuries. One of them, Sadequr Rahman, 32, a former senior joint convener of district Chhatra Dal's convening committee died at DMCH around 7:30pm on Thursday after he was taken there with bullet injuries
