Rabiul Islam (24) a day laborer named has been accused of forging a check of Tk 120,000 and with drawing Tk 11 lakh 20 thousand. The worker filed a case in court after dishonoring the check without receiving 11 lakh 20 thousand in the bank. The accused Rabiul Islam is the son of Motaleb of Baguladangi area of Balia Union of Thakurgaon Bhulli police station. And the victim is school teacher Mamatarani, daughter of Veer Mukti warrior Samaruvarman of Salandar area of Sadar. However, last December, Mamatarani made a general diary at the Sadar police station after missing the checkbook.

It is known that Kalidas, the husband of Mamtarani, took 1 lakh 20 thousand taka from Almamun, son of Shid of Bazlur of the same area, on June 6 this year. At that time, Kalidas wrote a check for Tk 1 lakh 20 thousand on his wife's Agrani Bank Munshihat branch Thakurgaon (account number-0200012004994). Later Mamun gave the check to his father-in-law Rabiul. Later, Rabiul went to the bank to withdraw money by putting 11 lakh 20 thousand instead of 1 lakh 20 thousand and 16 instead of 6 dates in the check through fraud. The check was dishonored on August 8 as the bank did not have 11 lakh taka. Without any notice, Rabiul filed a case against Mamtarani in Thakurgaon Senior Judicial Magistrate Administrative Court on September 25, alleging check forgery and fraud.

The victim, Mamtarani, said that a checkbook with account number 0200012004994 of Agrani Bank Munshihat Branch Thakurgaon was lost in November last year. Later I made a general diary at Sadar police station. One day Almamun said that my husband has taken 1 lakh 20 thousand taka from her. Later last April, in the presence of some people in a local newspaper office, I gave 70 thousand taka to Mamun and asked for more time to pay the remaining amount. Meanwhile, Mamun's brother Johnny came to my school and verbally abused and threatened me. They almost started threatening me. One day, 12 people, including Mamun's brother Johnny, blocked my way and tried to take them in the car by threatening me. At that time, when people ran to my screams, they ran away. I have filed a complaint in this regard at Bhulli police station.

She also said that my husband is absconding so there is no contact with him. I don't even know if my check was given to Almamun. At present I spend my days in fear with the children and the old mother. Rabiul who has filed a case in my name is a lie and fabrication, I do not know Amita. I demand fair justice to the learned court.

When asked about the complaint, Almamun said, Mamtarani's husband took 1 lakh 20 thousand taka from me. When I contacted his wife after not finding him, he gave me money in several rounds. But her husband did not give me any check. He dealt with me at Stamps.

And when I contacted Rabiul Islam, he said, I received 11 lakh 20 thousand taka from Mamata. I filed a case in court without getting the money.

Md. Dulal Uddin, officer-in-charge of Bhulli police station, said that a case is ongoing in the court on the charge of check forgery. Besides, I'm new. But I heard that Mamatarani was arrested by a group of youths. He also lodged a written complaint with the police station.
