Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a young man named Jasim Ruram (25) with around 2 million Indian rupees in Durgapur of Netrokona. He was arrested from West Vijaypur area of Kullagara Union of the upazila on Tuesday afternoon. Later that night, he was handed over to Durgapur police station. After filing the case, it was sent to the court on Wednesday afternoon. Jasim Ruram, the arrested youth, is the son of Lelin Hajong of Paschim Vijaypur village of Kullagarh union of Durgapur upazila.According to the sources of BGB, while patrolling on Tuesday afternoon, the young man was arrested during the suspicious movement of the border area and when his body was searched, 19 lakh 98 thousand Indian rupees were recovered from him. Later, the detained youth was handed over to Dugarpur police station by filing a case against him.Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Durgapur police station Uttam Chandra Dev said that BGB has filed a case against the detained youth and handed it over to the police station. Later he was sent to court.
