A court in Rajshahi city on Tuesday placed Rajshahi district BNP leader Abu Sayeed Chand on a three-day fresh remand in a case filed for threatening Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Judge Mahbub Alam of Rajshahi Judicial Magistrate Court-4 passed the remand order after Chand was produced before the court today ending his five-day remand.
Rajshahi district police's court inspector Porimal Kumar confirmed it. He said Chand was produced before the court today after ending his previous remand period. Police sought 10-day fresh remand. But the court accepted three-day remand for questioning.
