The family of Md Salman Ahmed, son of deceased Ahmed Ali of
Hapania village of Naogaon Sadar Upazila, has been attacked several times due
to the forceful occupation of his small land by his opponents. As they cannot
leave the house, the neighboring land has been fenced and the neighbors have
been accused of occupying the land by using forceful intimidation.
It is known that Salman Ahmed patrika Sutra Hat Hapaniya Mouza No. 54 Khatian
No. 281 1.83 century, Hat Hapaniya Mouza No. 56 Khatian No. 274 Daga. 75th
century, 7.13th century in spot 285, He was occupying 1.75 hundredths in plot
No. 275 in Khatian No. 55 of Hat Hapaniya Mauza, 3.31 hundredth in Dagan No.
284 in Khatian No. 55 of Hat Hapaniya Mouza. Salman said, a few days ago when I
was going to build a house on my own property, my neighbors Monayem, Ah Razzaq,
Shahidul, Zakaria, Narul Islam, Fazlur Rahman, Ain Uddin joined forces to
obstruct the construction of my house and threatened me. Monayem became the
plaintiff and filed a case against me in the court under section 144/145 which
later the court ruled in my favor. Where I live. But they did not stop and
bought other people's land and took away the mark of my land and tried to take
possession. A few days ago, when we went to bring cut branches of trees, they
obstructed us and beat us saying that they have a share in that land and at one
point I hit my wife on the head and I was admitted to Naogaon Sadar Hospital in
critical condition. Later I file a case in the police station which is still
under investigation. Previously, the Union Parishad was sitting on this land
issue. Ex-members have also come to the village along with dignitaries and leaders
but still not resolved. The reason is they want to do everything by force and
power. Also there were still many complaints against them.
When I spoke to the former member about this, he said, I know about Salman's
land. This dispute has been going on for a small amount of land. I also tried
to meet. However, it cannot be settled unless both parties agree.
When talking to Md. Monayem Hossain said, "We don't want any
confusion." I bought the place next to Salman's house from someone else
and still occupied by Salman. However, we are willing to sit down if this
problem is solved in a family way for the sake of peace. And let there be no
trouble. However, there is an ongoing case for depositing this land.
