Two school students drowned while
taking a bath in a pond in Cumilla’s Nangalkot. The incident happened on Monday
morning in Ashtagram of Buxganj Union of Upazila. Both the dead children
were students of the local Atgaon Government Primary School. In relation
they are two cousins - elder brothers.
Local residents said that Anand Sutradhar (5) son of Liton Sutradhar and Paban Sutradhar (5) son of Jubraj Sutradhar of Hindu house in Ashtagram East neighborhood of the upazila drowned while taking a bath in the pond next to the house in the morning. The death of two children at the same time cast a shadow of grief on their families and the community.
