Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested 10 members of a robber gang including its top leader during their drives in the capital's Mohammadpur, Hazaribagh and Tejgaon areas.
Some lethal weapons were also seized from their possessions.
RAB-2 assistant director (media) senior ASP Shihab Karim confirmed the arrest news on Thursday (July 7).
Recently, the incidents of robbery are increasing in different areas of the capital. For this, RAB-2 increased their intelligence surveillance on the gang. The 10 muggers were arrested from Mohammadpur, Hazaribagh and Tejgaon areas on Wednesday, he said.
