The 737th session of the seminar on Bangabandhu's political philosophy took place on Saturday evening, celebrating the 74th birth anniversary of Birmuktijodha Shaheed Captain Sheikh Kamal, the eldest son of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The seminar, organized on Zoom Webinar by JANIPOP. Janipop Founder Chairman Prof. Dr. Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BNCCO presided the session. Jahangirnagar University's Professor Dr. Jebounnessa were present as chief guest.
During the seminar, Dr. Kalimullah highlighted Sheikh Kamal's captivating ability to inspire people toward good deeds and unite them. He also emphasized Sheikh Kamal's pioneering role in developing culture and sports in the country. Dr. Zebunnesa paid tribute to the unique contribution of Shaheed Sheikh Kamal in Bangladesh's independence war. Prashant Kumar Sarkar described Sheikh Kamal as a personality with exceptional human qualities.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Arjina Khanam, president of Rangpur Women's Awami League, PhD researcher Proshanta Kumar Sarkar, and successful women entrepreneur Amatun Noor Shilpi. Additionally, special guests, including PhD researcher Fatimatu-Zohra Lima, Ferdous Wahid Bappi, and Saiful Islam Khan, National Volunteers of Janipop, joined the seminar.
The seminar was conducted by Dr. Dipu Siddiqui, country Director of Bangabandhu Commission and Chairman of the Education Department,RUD. Diverse participants from various regions such as Shafiul Bashar, an engineer from Dhaka University, Dr. Bayezida Farzana from Brahmanbaria, and Dr. Mahbubul Haque from Rajshahi, contributed to the vibrant discussions.
