The United States believes that the next general elections in Bangladesh should take place in a fair manner.
During a regular State Department briefing on Tuesday spokesperson Matthew Miller made this comment.
Responding to a question, Miller said, “We have consistently said that we believe elections in Bangladesh should be free and fair and open, and they should take place free of violence.”
