The Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will resume selling daily essentials at a subsidized price from Monday.
TCB Chairman Brig Gen Ariful Hasan confirmed that the program would be carried out in 300 trucks at the district and upazila levels besides the capital till May 30.
He said: “Soybean oil, lentils, and sugar will be given this time. We will also sell gram that remained unsold during Ramadan.”
Ariful Hasan added that the products would be sold at the previous price– soybean oil will be sold at Tk110 per litre, lentils at Tk75 per kg, sugar at Tk55, and grams at Tk50 per kg.

According to TCB, this is the 11th time this year that the corporation has started selling products at low prices for low-income people.
The TCB chairman further said that TCB products would be delivered to one crore families across the country through the card next June under the direction of the prime minister.
A buyer can buy a maximum of 2kg of sugar, two litres of soybean oil, and 2kg of lentils from a TCB truck.
