UPDF Democratic celebrated its 6th anniversary in
Khagrachari. On Wednesday (November 15, 2023) morning, the organization
organized a discussion meeting on the occasion of its foundation anniversary at
its central office in Madhupur.
The leaders and activists paid tribute by remembering the sacrifices of the
organization in the discussion meeting organized on the occasion of the
founding anniversary of the organization under the slogan "Resist all
conspiracies against the Jumma nation and be united in the implementation of
Chittagong Hill Tracts".
Khagrachhari district president of UPDF Ganotantrik Alokmoy Chakma moderated
the discussion as the chief guest, Shyamal Kanti Chakma, central president of
UPDF Ganotantrik. It was attended by special guests, Central Vice-President of
UPDF Gonotantrik Charming Chakma, General Secretary Miton Chakma, local member
Kanti Lal Chakma, Samaj Sevak Shakti Nanda Chakma and others.
The speakers in the discussion meeting, demanding the hill agreement, commented
that there is no alternative to national unity for the welfare of the Jumma
nation. In order to implement the agreement, the leaders of the regional
organizations of the hills must lead. A vested interest group is active in
order to keep the political environment from being peaceful and hence unity and
not conflict among all. Central General Secretary Miton Chakma called for
peace.
