BNP is a platform of communal and anti-liberation forces, said Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Friday (October 7, 2022).
He made the remarks while addressing a press conference at his residence in the capital on Friday morning.
Obaidul Quader said BNP didn't lay down their lives, rather, they took the lives of people, and exploited them. The country is not safe in their hands. They are hatching conspiracy to chain the country's people instead of liberating them. Apart from democracy, BNP also chained the spirit of liberation war and ideal of independence in the past. They used the country's independence to ascend to power.
Quader said there are blood of thousands of Awami League leaders and workers in BNP's hands. "BNP now talks about democracy. They say that they will free the rescue the country along with the enemies of democracy and independence."
"In fact, BNP has launched an agenda of destruction of the country. They take to the streets with all defeated evil forces," he said.
Obaidul Quader further said patriotic citizens are now united under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina. People will foil all the conspiracies of BNP and its friends through a united resistance.
