The Bengali Sahitya Sanskriti Sangsad program is set to take place on Friday, May 5th, 2023 at 5 pm at the National Theater Conference Hall (Lift 6) of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. This event is organized by the Society of Bengali Literature and Culture, and it promises to be an exciting opportunity for all Bengali enthusiasts to come together and celebrate their culture.

The program's agenda features a variety of activities, including a tribute to Bengal's first Chief Adviser Educationist Mustafa Nurul Islam, poetry reading and open discussion, approval of newly formed branches including Kishoreganj, formation of 100 branches at marginal level, preparations for the World Congress of Bengali, joint program with Rabindra Academy, financial matters, and special topics.

The program will begin with a tribute to the late Mustafa Nurul Islam, who was a renowned educationist and played an instrumental role in shaping the Bengali language and literature. Following the tribute, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a poetry reading and open discussion.

Additionally, the program will cover several other important topics, including the approval of newly formed branches, preparations for the World Congress of Bengali, and joint programs with the Rabindra Academy. Financial matters will also be discussed, including the collection of contributions from members and the assignment of responsibilities in various branch formation activities.

Furthermore, special topics will be addressed, such as the acceptance of condolence on the demise of Shantiniketan Branch Treasurer Sri Mallanath Mukherjee, the inclusion of names of those interested in attending the Santiniketan event, and the collection of members.

The program's theme for 2023 is "Bangiya: Bangladesh in Dreams and Creativity," and interested parties are invited to attend the event and actively participate in the initiative to expand Bengali activities at home and abroad.
