Three day-labourers died after being electrocuted in Gazipur's Sreepur on Thursday morning while working at an under-construction building.
Several others were also injured in the incident, according to our correspondent's report.
Local people said, "The workers were working at a high-rise building under Sreepur municipality this morning. They were electrocuted as accidentally, an adjacent electric wire touched a rod of the under-construction building. The workers then fell off the building after being electrocuted and died on the spot."
Sreepur Fire Service and Civil Defence's assistant deputy director Abdullah Al Arefin said getting information, two units rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
The deceased could not be identified yet.
