The farewell and welcome ceremony for the transfer of executive engineer, assistant engineer and sub-assistant engineer of Sylhet road department was held.

On Wednesday (November 8) in the city's Chauhatta Sadak Bhavan Auditorium, Sauz presided over the reception organized by Sadak Parivar, Sylhet. Under the chairmanship of Md. Shahadat Hossain, Sub-Divisional Engineer of Roads Sub-Division, Sylhet, Sauz, Sylhet Zone's Additional, spoke as the chief guest. Chief Engineer Md. Fazle Rabbe. Ahsan Uddin Ahmed, Supervising Engineer of Souz, Sylhet spoke as a special guest. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Executive Engineer of Souz, Road Division, Sylhet, New Executive Engineer Amir Hossain spoke as the outgoing guest.

At the beginning of the program conducted by Engineer Mohammad Khaledur Rahman, Imam Hafez Qari Maulana Zobair Bin Irshad recited the Holy Quran from Pakistan in front of Sylhet Road Building Jame Masjid. The Gita was recited by Dev Chowdhury, an engineer. Dhaka-Sylhet Forlane Project Project Manager Executive Engineer Debashish Roy, Biswanath Road Sub-Division Deputy Engineer Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Sylhet Zone Assistant Engineer Khandkar Anisul Haque, Road and Township Diploma Engineers Association Sylhet District Branch President Engineer Salah spoke on the occasion among others. Uddin Ahmed, President of Bangladesh Road and Township Workers Union Sylhet District Parliament Md Muminul Haque Ilyachi.

In the speech of the chief guest, Additional Chief Engineer of Sauz, Sylhet Zone, Md. Fazle Rabbe said, we have to work unitedly to accelerate the development activities of the government. We have to carry forward the development programs of the government with honesty and devotion. He wished good health and longevity to the outgoing and new engineers. Honorable crest and flowers were felicitated to the outgoing and new engineers at the ceremony.
