The closing ceremony, rally and discussion meeting of the 6-month-long teenage movement to stop child marriage under the title "Stop sexual harassment and create a girl-friendly environment". District Commissioner Mohd Khalid was the chief guest at the closing ceremony organized by Badhon Manab Unnayan Sangstha, ASH Bangladesh, Badaban Sangho, Shapla Jubo Sangho, Supti Mahila Sangstha at Bagerhat AC Laha Auditorium with the technical support of CARE Bangladesh, sponsored by UNFPA on Wednesday morning.

Bagerhat Jadunath School and College principal Jhimi Mondal presided over the meeting and among others, prominent educationist Professor Mozaffar Hossain, District Secondary Education Officer Md Kamruzzaman, Bagerhat Sadar Model Officer in Charge KM Azizul Islam, Shatgambuz Union Parishad Chairman Sheikh Aktaruzzaman Bachchu, CARE Bangladesh Technical Coordinator Suraiya Akter Sultana, FPAB district officer Rowshan Ara FPAB co-ordinator Seema Akhter, Md Musfiqur Rahman, Md Zakir Hossain, besides representatives of civil society, dignitaries, political figures, NGO officials, media workers and hundreds of girls  were  participated in it.

Earlier, a rally started from the front of the city's Independence Park, followed by a circuit of various roads in the city and ended at the venue. Besides, a stall on the activities of the respective departments of 5 voluntary private organizations is displayed for all.
