A smart operation team of
CPC-1, Chapainawabganj RAB-5, Rajshahi conducted an operation on November 19th,
2023 at 02:00 pm based on special intelligence information in Bagbaritola
village area of Maharajpur Union under Sadar Thana of Chapainawabganj district.

RAB's intelligence activities
have been increased in Chapainawabganj in the wake of various untoward
incidents including sabotage using cocktails and other explosives in the recent
volatile political situation. An operation was conducted on the basis of special
intelligence information about the storage of large quantities of explosives
(gun powder) to cause sabotage and the current political unrest. During the
operation, 03 kg 420 g explosives (gun powder) in a market bag and 02 kg coal
were recovered from under the bed of the house of Assam.
In the above incident, a case is being registered at the District Headquarters Police Station.
