Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saidul Arif handed over new cover books to the students in Kurigram in the New Year. On Monday morning, district education officer Md. Shamsul Alam, District Primary Education Officer Nabej Uddin Sarkar, Press Club President Raju Mostafiz etc. Earlier, the District Commissioner formally introduced the book festival in Kurigram by handing over books to the students of Kishloy Government Primary School then Government High School, Collectorate School and College, Kurigram Girls. High School, Dasherhat Govt. Primary School, Dasherhat High School officially celebrates book festival.This year the number of students at primary level was 3 lakh 47 thousand 650 and 14 lakh 14 thousand 680 books were received as per allocation.The number of students at secondary level is 222 thousand 652. The demand for books was 35 lakh 25 thousand. 3 million 60 thousand 365 were found. Books were distributed in the whole district in a festive atmosphere.
