All the six family members, who sustained burn injuries from an explosion in a gas pipeline in Keraniganj, have died.
The last person Md Yasin, 12, succumbed to his injuries at about 7:45am on Thursday while undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the capital.
Forty per cent of Yasin's body was burnt, said the hospital resident surgeon Dr Ayub Hossain.
The other five deceased were Shahadat Hossain, 20, his grandmother Begum, 60, Maria Akter, 8, Panna Begum, 50, and Sonia Akter, 26.
On August 30, the six members of a family suffered critical burn injuries from a fire following an explosion in the gas pipeline at their house in Jinjira area of Keraniganj.
