Krishok, Jubo and Motsho Dal held
a protest march in support of the hartal in Kurigram.
On Sunday morning, under the
leadership of Ripon Rahman, Member Secretary of the District Farmers' Party, a
protest procession left in front of the Kurigram Central Jame Masjid and after
circling the main road of the city, reached the Almas Community Center in
Dadamor, a suburb, and met for a short road meeting.

Azadun Nabi Shamim, member secretary Mahbubur Rahman, general secretary of
district Tanti Dal, Abdul Qayyum, former president of Municipal Jubo Dal, Wazed
Ali Jhinuk, member Raju Ahmed, president of Municipal Weaver Dal, Lavlu Ahmed,
general secretary Sohel Ahmed, Sadar Thana of Tanti Dal were present in the
road meeting. President Bablu Mia, General Secretary Saju Ahmed, Municipal Fishermen's
Party Convener Moksed Ali etc.
Ripon Rahman, member secretary of the District Farmers' Party, said, 'BNP leaders and workers cannot be suppressed with false and harassing cases. Abolish the illegal austerity immediately and hold elections under a non-partisan caretaker government.' Otherwise, he warned of the fall of the government in the Extreme movement.
