Another passenger, who was injured when a train rammed into microbus at a level crossing in Mirsharai upazila of Chattogram on July 29, succumbed to his injuries, taking the death toll to 12.
The deceased is Hayatul Islam Ayat, 17, son of Abdul Shukkur, a resident of Ward No-8 in Hathazari upazila.
He breathed his last in the ICU of Chattogram Medical College Hospital at about 1.30 pm on Friday, said professor Dr SM Noman Khaled Chowdhury of the hospital.
On July 29, eleven people were killed and six others injured when a train hit a microbus carrying the tourists at a level crossing in Khayachhara area of Mirsharai upazila.
