He said that on the basis of secret information today, Monday 19th February 2024 at 1230 hours, Bangladesh Coast Guard South Zone BCG Outpost Lalmohan under the leadership of Contingent Commander M Mujtaba, PO (Med) conducted a special operation in Devi Char area adjacent to Tetulia river under Lalmohan upazila of Bhola district. is done During the raid, a suspicious wooden boat was signaled to stop for a search, and they quickly fled after realizing the presence of the Coast Guard. In this situation, when the Coast Guard raiding party chased the boat, they left the boat on the bank of the river in Char area of Devi and fled quickly. Later, the said boat was searched: 24 kg 900 g of ganja was recovered under the fishing net inside the boat in a fancy manner.
He further said that the seized ganja was handed over to Lalmohan police station for further legal action.
