Chattogram's communication with Cox's Bazar suspended

After Bandarban, now the communication of Chattogram with Cox's Bazar was suspended on Tuesday, resulting in immense suffering of the passengers of the two districts.

Two roads went under water due to continuous rainfall for the last few days and the water of the River Sangu is flowing above the danger level. The commuters gathered at Bohoddarhat Bus Terminal in the city and Karnaphuli third bridge area. But failed to travel.

No buses is leaving from the third bridge area to Cox's Bazar and Bandarban on Tuesday. Only South Chattogram-bound vehicles are running. Many people in those two districts are trying to reach their destination by the upazila-bound car.

Abdul Hamid, a resident of Cox's Bazar, said, "It's emergency for me to go home. But when came here, heard that the road was flooded with water."
