BUET Prof Nikhil Ranjan Dhar and 15 others have been indicted in a case filed over bank recruitment question paper leakage incident.
Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzel Hossain framed the charges against the 16.
The magistrate fixed August 26 for starting the trial of the case.
A case was filed in November 2021 at Badda Police Station under the Public Examinations (Offences) Act following the question leak in recruitment tests of five state-owned banks on November 6, 2021.
Photos of the question papers with answers went viral on social media even before the exam ended.
The detectives have so far arrested 11 people.
On March 20 this year, Nikhil Ranjan Dhar was sent to jail as a court rejected his bail petition.
