BNP Standing Committee member Dr Khondker Mosharraf Hossain has said the party's mass rally will begin at 11:00am on Saturday (December 9) at Golapbagh ground in the capital.
He disclosed it at a press conference held at about 3:30pm at the BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's political office at Gulshan in the capital.
Dr Mosharraf said the rally at Golapbagh ground will begin at 11:00am. Letter has been sent to police to ensure safety and security of the area and around the ground.
Urging all to make the Saturday's mass rally a success, he also expressed the hope that the Dhaka city dwellers would take part in the anti-government movement with BNP in the coming days.
The press conference was also attended by BNP standing committee members Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Nazrul Islam Khan, Barrister Jamir Uddin Sircar and Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, among others.
