BNP will hold mass gatherings in 10 divisional cities including the capital Dhaka to protest against the increase in prices of fuel and daily necessities.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced this program in a press conference organized at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan on Wednesday (September 28) afternoon in the capital.
Earlier, this decision was taken in the standing committee meeting of the party last Monday (September 26) night. A press conference was organized to announce this decision of the party. However, this rally will start from Chittagong division on October 8. The last rally will be held on December 10 in the capital Dhaka.
On October 8 Chittagong, October 15 Mymensingh, October 22 Khulna, October 29 Rangpur, November 5 Barisal, November 12 Faridpur, November 19 Sylhet, November 26 Comilla, December 3 Rajshahi and December 10 in the capital Dhaka will be held.
Mirza Fakhrul said, “The anti-people authoritarian fascist government is protesting against the increase in prices of daily necessities including rice, pulses, fuel oil, five leaders and activists were killed in the ongoing movement in Bhola, Narayanganj, Munshiganj and Jessore, the release of Begum Khaleda Zia and the filing of false cases against the leaders and activists from October 8. It has been decided to hold a public meeting in the city.’
