BAF Shaheen College Holds Drawing Competition Honoring Bangabandhu's Legacy and Liberation War Spirit on Thursday.August 15 marks a day of profound national mourning. To honor the memory of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, BAF Shaheen College, Dhaka, held its annual drawing competition. Approximately two hundred students enthusiastically participated in this art contest centered around the theme of the Liberation War, creating a joyous atmosphere.
At 10 am, the competition was inaugurated by Principal Group Captain AKM Abdur Razzak. The school has been organizing this drawing competition annually, aiming to instill the spirit of patriotism and the Liberation War, as envisioned by the revered Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, among its students.
Among the participants was Shadab Hasin, a second-grade student from the Lotus branch of the English version. He expressed his delight in taking part in the competition, emphasizing his fondness for such events. This year, Shadab Hasin painted a poignant portrait of Bangabandhu and the National Memorial, showcasing his artistic talent and paying tribute to the great leader.According to Dr. Dipu Siddiqui, a parent of a student at the college, the co-curricular activities of BAF Shaheen College are serving as a motivating force, instilling a sense of joy in the students' approach to their studies. The college authorities deserve commendation for their exemplary efforts in organizing such enriching co-curricular activities.
