The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations were published on Wednesday. The average pass rate is 85.95 per cent across the country.
The pass rate in Dhaka is 87.80 per cent, while 78.76 per cent in Chattogram, 80.32 per cent in Mymensingh, 81.51 per cent in Rajshahi, 81.4 per cent in Sylhet, 83.32 per cent in Jashore and 86.95 per cent in Barishal.
Total 1,78,443 students achieved GPA 5.
Earlier this morning, Education Minister Dipu Moni handed over the copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. After that, the Premier unveiled the results officially.
The students can get their results from Education Board's website (http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd) and their respective institutions. A candidate can know his/her result by sending an SMS to 16222 typing HSC, first three letters of respective board name, roll number and the year. For example: "HSC DHA 34**** 2022" and sent to 16222.
A total of 1,203,407 examinees took part in the HSC exams which were held from November 6 to December 13 last year.
