Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) price has increased after decline several consecutive times.
Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has fixed 12 kg LPG cylinder price at Tk 1,140 raising By Tk 141 at the consumer level in the month of August. It has been sold at Tk 999 so far.
The new price was announced at a press conference held at the BERC office in the capital on Wednesday (August 2).
It was stated that the price of each kilogram of LPG at the consumer level has been fixed at Tk 94.96 with VAT.
It may be mentioned that the 12kg LPG cylinder price was lowered to Tk 999 reducing by Tk 75 at the consumer level in the month of July last.
